Free Cleanings

Posted by: healthyadvances on: October 26, 2009

In November, free tune ups and cleanings are being offered at the University of Cincinnati. And while I first thought about cars, the press release is focused on hearing aids for Hearing Aid Awareness Week. It makes sense, too. Who wouldn’t want clean hearing aids… well, if you have to use hearing aids, of course.

GUAHAN Project

Posted by: healthyadvances on: October 22, 2009

Here’s the latest video from the GUAHAN Project out in Guam. The video is really well done and focuses on the project’s relationship with OMH because it was prepared for the upcoming APHA conference. Substance Abuse

Posted by: healthyadvances on: October 13, 2009

Here are two posts I submitted recently that dealt with substance abuse and although they’re not really related, both piqued my interest. If you’re looking for more abstract opportunities or the OMH calendar of events, you can check here or here, respectively.
